GBCA is offering a Certificate program in Construction Supervision: Emphasis in Building in partnership with Construction Experts, Inc. In this program, participants will gain a strong understanding of construction supervision and leadership, including communication, problem solving, planning and scheduling, contract documents, and productivity management.
Individuals pursuing this Certificate must complete 8 out of the following classes:
- Leadership and Motivation
- Oral and Written Communications
- Problem Solving and Risk Management
- Contract Documents and Construction Law
- Planning and Scheduling
- Construction Productivity & Cost Management
- Building Green Buildings
- Construction Project Management
Courses for the Certificate are offered either anytime or four times a year. The class schedule is designed so that students can complete the certificate programs within one year. However, to provide flexibility, students have up to three years to complete all required coursework if needed.
