GBCA is offering a Certificate program in Construction Project Management in partnership with Construction Experts, Inc. In this program, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of construction project management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and the legal environment of construction. Students will learn to coordinate teams, manage resources, and oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Required Courses (complete ALL of the following):
- Construction Project Management
- Practical Applications of Construction Law
- Construction Equipment and Methods
- Planning and Scheduling
- Building Green Buildings: The Contractor's Perspective
Elective Courses (complete one of the following):
- Risk Management and Problem Solving
- Contract Documents and Construction Law
- Construction Productivity and Cost Management
Courses for the Certificate are offered either anytime or four times a year. The class schedule is designed so that students can complete the certificate programs within one year. However, to provide flexibility, students have up to three years to complete all required coursework if needed.
