Event Details

Join us for an electrical training that will cover all applicable OSHA federal regulations and, National Electrical Code (2017) requirements for temporary power and lighting on construction/renovation projects. The focus will be on practical/feasible methods to ensure compliance on all projects. Compliance will focus on proper installation, maintenance and electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70E), where justified energized work is required. Improperly installed conductors and equipment can result in serious OSHA fines, fire, significant exposures, injury or worse.

Breakfast will be provided. 

The deadline to receive a refund for event registration is (7) seven business days before the event. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Presenter: Jim Dollard, Director of Code Compliance, United Inspection Agency 

Jim Dollard is the retired IBEW Local 98 Safety Coordinator and has over 43-years experience in electrical construction. He has been an NFPA technical committee on multiple committees including the National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E, the Standard for Electrical safety in the Workplace. He is also a long-time member of the Underwriters Laboratories Electrical Council. Jim is presently the Director of Code Compliance for United Inspection Agency, an author for NECA National in EC magazine and is a safety consultant for the NECA Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter in this area.
