Join the Construction Leadership Council on September 28 for a half-day, interactive workshop on becoming an influential and effective leader.
Some people seem to be natural leaders who know what and how to say something in any situation, and who can influence people to change. While some find communication easy, effective communication is a skill that can be learned and practiced. The ability to communicate is one of the key behaviors critical to being a successful leader who has influence. This skill is crucial to success in the work environment, and frankly, in all areas of life.
On Wednesday, September 28th, from 1pm - 3:30pm, come to an interactive session at GBCA to strengthen our communication muscles! We will explore strategies to enhance our effectiveness as communicators and influential leaders. We’ll practice proven processes, learn from each other’s successes, and connect with other GBCA members to build our network.
During this workshop, we will explore ways to:
- Establish rapport and build positive relationships
- Become better listeners and encourage others to listen
- Adapt our messages for our audiences
- Communicate effectively so we increase understanding and have more influence
