Join the Local OSHA Office, AGC of America, and GBCA for Eggs with OSHA! The event will take place on Thursday, April 2nd, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at IBEW Local 98 in the Navy Yard.

Kevin Cannon, Senior Director of Safety, Health & Risk Management at AGC of America, will provide an overview of regulatory updates, enforcement trends, and emerging priorities from OSHA. This session will help contractors understand how recent changes affect compliance, risk management, and workforce safety.

Kevin Cannon, CSP, ARM

Kevin is the Senior Director of Safety, Health, and Risk Management at the Associated General Contractors of America, with 27 years of experience in safety and health and 19 years specifically within the construction industry. For the past 16 years at AGC, he has functioned as the primary liaison on federal safety and health regulations, providing expert guidance and insight on regulatory matters that affect the industry. More recently, his role expanded to include responsibility for tracking broader risk management challenges, including issues related to liability, insurance, and enterprise-level risk exposure.

Between 2011 – 2025, Kevin served on the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH), which advises the Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA on standards, policies, and regulations affecting the construction industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene Management from Millersville University and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), credentialed by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Kevin also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Kevin was awarded the NSC Distinguished Service to Safety Award in 2025, the council’s highest individual honor.
