Mr. Lloyd will discuss asbestos importation and uses, and some common misconceptions that lead to asbestos continuing to be a problem for those involved in this type of work today. Mr. Schwartz will share thoughts on cover ANSI/ASSE 10.6 and the National Association of Demolition Contractor’s Safety Manual as the planning guidance for demolition activities which includes dismantling any part of a structure. Mr. Harritty will provide us with an update on OSHA and will discuss OSHA’s Safety and Health Regulations for Construction 1926.1101 Asbestos.
