Matt Pentz, Executive Vice President, Rycon Construction
Matt Pentz is the Executive Vice President of Rycon Construction’s Philadelphia office, bringing 20 years of experience overseeing complex projects across multiple market sectors. Based at Two Logan Square, he leads regional operations, business development, client engagement, and project execution throughout the MidAtlantic.
Beginning his career as a project engineer and advancing through senior project management roles, Matt pairs strategic leadership with hands on operational expertise. He holds a B.S. in Building Construction Management from Purdue University and maintains a LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt and ASHE Health Care Construction Certification.
Under Matt’s leadership, Rycon’s Philadelphia office has grown to more than 85 team members and has completed over 160 projects in seven states, spanning health care, higher education, retail, office, and government markets. The team has built lasting relationships with prominent clients including Temple University, Villanova University, University of Pennsylvania, Chick-fil-A, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Federal Realty, and Brandywine Realty Trust.
Recent notable projects include Temple’s Barnett College of Public Health, Temple’s Women’s Health Center, UPenn’s Lacross Locker Rooms, Villanova’s Bartley Hall Elevator Addition, Clifton Heights Middle School, Lower Bucks Government Service Center, and Cherry Hill Mall Redevelopment.
