Join us for a Suspended Scaffold Safety Training with Dave Tomczak, DC 21 Health Safety Coordinator at Finishing Trades Institute. In this course, students will learn how to choose the best combination of swing stage equipment for each job, how to use and handle swing stage equipment safely and while using fall arresting equipment to prevent serious or fatal injuries.
Attendees will receive a course completion card after the training. Lunch will be provided.
Dave Tomczak is the Health and Safety Coordinator for the Finishing Trades Institute. The FTI is the training provider for District Council 21, who represents Glaziers, Painters, and Drywall finishers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Before becoming a full time safety coordinator he spent 18 years in the field as a glazier with Local 252.
