Mid-Atlantic Steel, LLC is a structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator located in New Castle, Delaware. We have been in business since 1985, and have since grown to become one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s leading structural steel contractors with a history of successfully completed projects throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
Mid-Atlantic Steel utilizes a quality assurance program throughout the duration of every project. We are certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) in the Steel Building Structures category. This certification confirms that we have the personnel, organization, experience, capability and commitment meeting the requirements set forth by the AISC Certification Program. Since AISC sets the standard for quality in the steel construction industry, our customers can be assured their project is being completed by an industry leader.
Mid-Atlantic Steel operates a fully automated 30,000 square foot facility capable of producing over 1,000 tons of steel per month. We currently own a drill line, angle line, and cambering, plate shear and press break machines as well as numerous other pieces of equipment. Mid-Atlantic also maintains a transport fleet, which includes (3) truck tractors and more than (20) flat-bed trailers. Additionally, our in house detailing department utilizes 3D technologies such as Design Data SDS/2 software when developing shop drawings.
