Join GBCA for our Eggs & Insights program on Thursday, November 20, from 7:30 AM–9:30 AM at the Laborers’ Training Center in Philadelphia. Enjoy breakfast followed by practical strategies to support employees’ mental health on the jobsite, explore available resources, and strengthen a culture of wellness in construction.

Attendees will hear from Buddy Osborn, founder and pastor of Rock Ministries of Philadelphia, on how workers can take steps to support their well-being and how companies can serve as a resource for assistance. Louis DeSanto, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Caron Treatment Centers, will also share strategies for supporting employees’ mental health, responding to crises, and fostering open conversations about mental wellness in the workplace.

Buddy Osborn, Founder and Pastor of Rock Ministries of Philadelphia

Buddy Osborn is the founder and senior pastor of Rock Ministries of Philadelphia, a faith-based outreach transforming lives in Kensington—one of America’s most afflicted communities.

After experiencing a radical life change through faith in Jesus Christ, Buddy launched Rock Ministries in 2003 with a mission to reach at-risk youth and families through faith, mentorship, and practical programs that foster hope and new beginnings. What began as a small Bible study has grown into a dynamic ministry offering discipleship, housing, education, and recovery programs that serve thousands every year.

For the past 15 years, Buddy has also served as the chaplain for the Philadelphia Building Trades Unions, providing spiritual guidance, pastoral care, and support to men and women working across the city’s construction trades.

Under his leadership, Rock Ministries has become a beacon of light in Kensington and beyond - offering the message that no life is beyond redemption and no community beyond restoration. Buddy continues to inspire others through his bold faith, servant leadership, and unwavering commitment to seeing lives transformed by the gospel.

Louis DeSanto, Director of Corporate Partnerships, Caron Treatment Centers

Louis DeSanto is a passionate advocate for workplace wellness and behavioral health innovation. As Director of Corporate Partnerships at Caron Treatment Centers, he helps organizations create and sustain cultures of wellness, support, and accountability. With a background in business development and a personal commitment to recovery, Louis brings authenticity, strategic insight, and heart to his work with employers, industry leaders, and professional associations.

Louis partners with HR and benefits leaders to elevate workplace well-being through smarter, more intentional benefits design. He helps organizations integrate behavioral health solutions that improve access to care, streamline resources, and reduce overall costs. Known for his engaging and practical approach, Louis gives managers the tools to better recognize and support employees, empowering companies to strengthen their people, culture, and overall performance.

Parking is on a first come first served basis at 1371 W. Thompson Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19122. There are limited spots available. Street parking is also available.

Please enter the Training Center through the back door off Thompson Street, sign in at the front desk, and you will be directed to take the elevator up to the lecture hall.
